MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To coordinate the logistics function of special events activations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Direct and manage the logistics of relevant events

Activate and implement  the logistics plan for each individual event and coordinate successful implementation on event days

Coordinate the staff component for each individual event in support of the Clinical Events Manager

Control the stock of each individual event

Coordinate and maintain equipment for events

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:  Basic Life Support (BLS) qualification

DESIRED EDUCATION: Intermediate Life Support qualification

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years’ experience within the emergency and prehospital environment
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 5 years’ experience within the emergency and prehospital environment, Experience in logistics activation and support within sporting and expedition/hostile/wilderness environment

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Health and safety principles
  • Medico,legal risks and infection prevention and control principles and procedures
  • Stock management and control
  • Legislative regulations including but not limited to Events Act
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Emergency and Disaster Medicine
